ITINERARY

DAY 01: LEH TO SHAM VALLEY (70 KMS | 3-4 HRS APPROX.)

Upon your arrival at Leh airport, our representative will meet and greet you. You will be transferred to Sham Valley, passing through picturesque villages along the Indus River. Take the day to acclimatize to the change in altitude. Overnight stay in Sham.

DAY 02: SHAM – LEH (POLO MATCH & CULTURAL SHOW) (100 KMS | 5-6 HRS APPROX.)

After breakfast, drive to Leh, making stops at Alchi Monastery, Sangam, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, and the Hall of Fame en route. Afternoon drive to Thiksey to enjoy a traditional Ladakhi cuisine. There after Continue the journey to Chuchot to witness an exhilarating traditional Ladakhi polo match & Cultural Show, showcasing the region's unique sporting heritage. On return Journey to Hotel visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace & Leh Market. Overnight stay in Leh.

DAY 03: LEH - NUBRA VALLEY (128 KMS | 4-5 HRS APPROX.)

Following breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Nubra Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers, via Khardungla, the highest motorable road in the World (18,380 ft). Check into the hotel/camp upon your arrival and take a walk along the Shayok River. Optionally, enjoy a camel ride on the Sand Dunes between Deskit and Hundur Village. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

DAY 04: HUNDER - TURTUK - THANG – HUNDER (190 KMS | 6-7 HRS APPROX.)

After breakfast, drive to Thang (the last village of India on the India-Pakistan border), visiting Turtuk and Tyakshi en route. Thang was captured by the Indian Army in the 1971 war. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

DAY 05: NUBRA - PANGONG LAKE VIA SHYOK RIVER ROAD (150 KMS | 6-7 HRS APPROX.)

After Morning Breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake at 14,500 ft, with a drive of 6 – 7 Hrs. Arrive at the camp and enjoy free time at leisure, witnessing the mesmerizing color changes of the lake and the sunset on its banks. Overnight stay at Pangong Lake.

DAY 06: PANGONG LAKE TO HANLE (175 KMS | 6-7 HRS APPROX.)

In the morning after breakfast, drive to Hanle, crossing Chushul Village and Tsaga La (15,200 Ft). Hanle is home for the Indian Astronomical Observatory. The village's location is highly sensitive due to its proximity to the Tibetan/Chinese border. India set up the Himalayan Chandra Telescope, a 2m gamma-ray telescope, here. Enjoy the stay with locals at a guesthouse/homestay. Overnight stay in Hanle.

DAY 07: HANLE – TSOMORIRI VIA MAHE BRIDGE (130 KMS | 4-5 HRS APPROX.)

After breakfast, drive to Tsomoriri Lake via Nurpa Pass (16,100 Ft), continuing to drive through Loma Bend and Mahe Bridge. Arrive at Korzok village by late noon. Evening is at disposal to walk around the lake and enjoy the scenic beauty. Overnight stay in Korzok.

DAY 08: TSOMORIRI – TSOKAR - TAGLANGLA – LEH (240 KMS | 7-8 HRS APPROX.)

Morning after breakfast, leave for Leh via Puga (Sulphur Mine) and Polakongka pass 15,892 ft, Tsokar Lake, and Taklang La Pass 17,585 ft, the second-highest motorable road in the world. Arrive in Leh by late evening. Overnight stay in Leh.

DAY 09: LEH AIRPORT DEPARTURE (4 KMS | 15 MINUTES APPROX.)

Early morning, transfer to Leh airport for your flight back to your destination. The journey comes to an end.
